World Languages

At John Adams High School, the World Language Department is dedicated to fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and intercultural learning environment that champions the study of languages as a vital
component of global citizenship. The World Language Department includes 13 teachers and offers classes in Spanish, French, and Bengali.

 

Our programs include Bilingual Home Language Arts (HLA) in Spanish and Bengali, World Language classes in Spanish and French, Heritage classes in Spanish, Advanced Placement opportunities such as AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature and Culture, the rigorous International Baccalaureate language studies in Spanish, and the Seal of Biliteracy.
